Of course, mushrooms can be found both within the city and in its immediate vicinity. But those who know a lot about mushroom hunting prefer to go a little further in order to return with a basket full of tasty spoils. So don’t be lazy and... have a good search!

Recommendations for mushroom pickers

First, decide where you will go. If there is no ready-made solution, then choose the most popular direction. Pay attention to the side of the highway. If there are a lot of parked cars there, then you can safely stop and go into this forest to pick mushrooms. Wear comfortable clothing, preferably waterproof shoes such as rubber boots. In the morning—namely, early morning is the best time to pick mushrooms—the grass is wet with dew. If you don’t have rubber boots, you can put shoe covers or plastic bags over your sneakers. Just don't slip.

Be sure to take a compass with you. Even if the forest is sparse, you can get lost in it, carried away by mushroom hunting. You will also need a basket - in it the mushrooms will not wrinkle and break so much. It is better to place mushrooms with their caps facing up. In the forest you should find a convenient stick about a meter long, which will help when searching for mushrooms. If you doubt whether a mushroom is edible, then you should not take it at all. Health and life are a hundred times more valuable.
