How to cook:
- Wash the hearts and cut them into halves, remove fat.
- Wash the honey mushrooms and cut them randomly.
- Peel the onion, cut off the roots, then wash.
- Finely chop with a sharp knife.
- Heat half the oil in a frying pan.
- Add the hearts and fry them, stirring occasionally, until golden brown for about ten minutes.
- Pour the remaining oil into the second frying pan and heat it too.
- Place the mushrooms and cook for five minutes until the liquid evaporates.
- Then add the onion and simmer together until done.
- Season the hearts with spices and sprinkle with curry powder.
- Move the honey mushrooms to another frying pan, combine everything and pour in sour cream.
- Reduce heat and cook the dish for ten minutes under the lid.
- Rinse the dill and chop finely.
- Sprinkle the prepared hearts with honey mushrooms over them and serve.
Tip: sour cream can be replaced with cream or yogurt.
How to cook “Chicken hearts in sour cream with mushrooms”
To prepare the dish, take chicken hearts. I washed and sorted my hearts in advance, removing tubes and films from them. If yours are different, clean them up.
Cut the onion into half rings. Those who do not like large fractions of onions in the finished dish can cut the onions into smaller pieces. I make everything simpler.
Pour a little vegetable oil into a thick-walled saucepan. Add the hearts and simmer them over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
While the hearts are stewing in their own juice, chop the mushrooms as desired. If you suddenly come across very small mushrooms, you can leave them in their original form without cutting them.
Add chopped mushrooms and onions. Stir and simmer for another 10 minutes. Now add boiled water until the hearts are completely covered with water. Simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.
