Lavash roll with mushrooms is an excellent alternative to sandwiches. Interesting recipes and ways to serve pita roll with mushrooms

Lavash rolls as a snack appeared on our tables relatively recently, but have already gained popularity among housewives.

Firstly, pita bread has fewer calories than bread, which means that it can be served as a snack even for those who are on a diet.

At the same time, a lavash roll with mushrooms is quite a satisfying dish. Secondly, even a novice housewife can prepare such a snack, and the result will exceed all your expectations.

Lavash roll with mushrooms - basic cooking principles

You can use any mushrooms for the filling. These can be fresh or pickled champignons, honey mushrooms, milk mushrooms or oyster mushrooms.

The beauty of this appetizer is that you can get creative and add whatever ingredients you want. The main thing is that they combine with each other to taste. The filling includes boiled eggs, processed, hard or soft cream cheese, vegetables, chicken, etc.

Mushrooms are fried with onions. Vegetables are boiled and grated on a fine grater, or chopped into small pieces. Do the same with eggs.

The ingredients are laid out in layers, alternating them with sheets of lavash. Each layer is smeared with mayonnaise or other sauce and wrapped tightly. Then the roll is left to soak for half an hour and cut into portions.

Selection and preparation of ingredients

Lavash is considered one of the oldest types of bread and is an excellent basis for preparing quick and satisfying snacks, the additional components of which are often mushrooms (champignons), processed or hard cheese, ham, and eggs.

Important! The higher the fat content of processed cheese, the yellower it will be.

To make the dish truly tasty and aromatic, you need to choose fresh, high-quality products:

  1. Champignon (pecheritsa). Fresh mushrooms have a uniform, white color with a pink or cream tint. There are no dark spots, putrefactive areas, or various damage on the surface of the fruiting body. At the same time, the pecheritsa emit an almost imperceptible mushroom aroma.

  2. Pita. When choosing, look at the expiration dates of the product. Packaging with lavash must have ventilation holes to prevent rapid spoilage. The bread itself should have an even thickness and not have a musty, oily smell.

  3. Processed cheese. Before purchasing, you should familiarize yourself with its composition - a real processed product must contain exclusively milk fats. The product must have a uniform consistency, white or light yellow color.

When purchasing the remaining ingredients needed to prepare the snack, you should carefully look at their production date and degree of freshness.

Description of preparation:

I don’t know about you, but I really like this wonderful recipe for making pita bread with mushrooms.
Usually, for some reason, during the cooking process they also add chicken fillet, but for example, I don’t like it when something constantly falls out of the pita bread and juice flows out. And here you get a fairly light appetizer, with which you certainly won’t embarrass yourself at any buffet table! And especially if you grind already fried mushrooms in a blender, then you get something like a delicate pate, which together with cheese is simply an enchanting combination! So, having learned how to make pita bread with mushrooms, don’t be lazy to try making it, you’ll love it!
