Both wild mushrooms and ordinary champignons are equally suitable for preparing such dishes. They can be fresh, dried or even frozen. Even an inexperienced housewife can easily stew mushrooms in cream. The main thing is to maintain all the recommended proportions and not deviate from the instructions described below.
Step #1. The washed and peeled onion is chopped into thin half rings and sautéed in an oiled frying pan.
Step #2. As soon as it becomes transparent, add mushrooms cut into slices, salt, spices, crushed garlic and chopped dill.
Step #3. After a few minutes, pour the whole thing with cream and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally. Experienced chefs advise simmering champignons in the sauce for no longer than a quarter of an hour.
With mayonnaise and sour cream
Those who have to organize a small family holiday should pay attention to the recipe discussed below. Mushrooms in cream in the oven not only have time to fully cook, but also become thoroughly saturated with the aromas of spices and a delicate sauce. To bake them you will need:
- 1 kg of champignons.
- 150 g cheese.
- 50 ml cream (30%).
- 500 ml milk (2.5%).
- 2 eggs.
- 1 onion.
- 3 tbsp. l. flour.
- 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise.
- 2 tbsp. l. sour cream (20%).
- Salt, oil and seasonings.
Step #1. Finely chopped onions are sautéed in a heated, greased frying pan.
Step #2. As soon as it changes color, add slices of mushrooms to it and simmer until the liquid evaporates.
Step #3. The resulting mass is distributed over the bottom of a greased deep pan. Experienced housewives advise doing this so that all the existing juice remains in the pan.
Step #4. All this is salted, seasoned and poured with a mixture of beaten eggs, mayonnaise, sour cream, flour, cream and warm milk.
Step #5. At the next stage, the contents of the mold are sprinkled with cheese shavings and sent for heat treatment. Cook mushrooms in cream in an oven heated to 200 °C for no longer than twenty-five minutes. Experienced cooks recommend that you first cool the finished casserole slightly and only then cut it into portions.
Champignon soup with chicken and melted cheese
Soups with processed cheese, otherwise known as cheese soups, are distinguished by a soft, rich taste with a creamy aroma and a velvety consistency. We are preparing cheese soup with chicken, because chicken, mushrooms and cheese are a classic combination and will appeal to many. We fry the champignons and vegetables, since it is the fried mushrooms that give the soup a wonderful golden hue.
Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.

Ingredients:
- Fresh champignons – 300 gr.
- Chicken breast – 1 pc.
- Potatoes – 4 pcs.
- Processed cheese – 2 pcs.
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Carrots – 1 pc.
- Salt - to taste.
- Spices - to taste.
- Greens – 1 bunch.
- Butter or olive oil - for frying.
Cooking process:
Step 1. Prepare the ingredients for cooking the soup according to the recipe. Rinse the chicken breast and boil until cooked. After boiling, you can drain the first water with foam to make the broth clear.
Step 2. While the chicken is cooking, clean and rinse the champignons and then chop them into thin slices.
Step 3. Chop the peeled onion into small cubes and chop the peeled carrots using a grater or knife.
Step 4. Peel, rinse and cut the potatoes into cubes up to 1.5 cm in size.
Step 5. Heat butter or olive oil in a frying pan and fry the mushroom slices in it until half cooked.
Step 6. In another frying pan and also in heated oil, fry the chopped onion and carrots. Fry them until the onion is transparent.
Step 7. Remove the chicken breast, boiled by this time, from the broth and cut the meat into small cubes.
Step 8. Then add chopped potatoes, chicken pieces, fried champignons and vegetables to the chicken broth, add salt and any spices to your taste and mix everything. Cook the soup over low heat and cover with a lid for 30 minutes.
Step 9. Remove the processed cheese from the packaging and cut into small cubes.
Step 10. Towards the end of cooking the soup, add the chopped cheese to the pan and stir well so that the cheese pieces are completely dissolved. Taste the soup and adjust to your taste. Pour the prepared champignon soup with chicken and melted cheese into serving bowls, add finely chopped herbs and serve. Bon appetit!

This hearty dish can replace a full meal for older and older eaters. It goes harmoniously with pasta and cereals, which means you will have a delicious and nutritious dinner every time. Since this recipe for mushrooms with cream and chicken requires the availability of a specific grocery set, check in advance whether you have on hand:
- 300 g champignons.
- 300 g chicken fillet.
- 300 ml cream.
- 1 clove of garlic.
- 1 tbsp. l. white flour.
- Salt, spices and vegetable oil.
Step #1. Peeled garlic is fried in a greased heated frying pan.

Step #3. As soon as the contents of the frying pan are almost ready, it is transferred to a heat-resistant form, at the bottom of which there are already champignon slices.
Step #4. All this is poured with the remaining cream and sent to the oven. Cook the dish at moderate temperature for no more than half an hour.
With minced pork
Mushrooms in cream with ground meat will make a worthy composition with boiled potatoes or fluffy rice. To prepare them, you will need:
- 400 g champignons.
- 450 g lean minced pork.
- 1.5 cups cream (15%).
- 1 onion.
- 1 tbsp. l. flour.
- Salt and vegetable oil.
Step #1. Chopped onions are fried in a greased hot frying pan.
Step #2. When it turns golden, add mushrooms and continue cooking.
Step #3. After the liquid released from the frying pan evaporates, its contents are supplemented with minced meat and salt.
Step #4. All this is briefly browned over moderate heat, and then poured with cream, in which the flour has previously been dissolved. Mushrooms with ground meat are stewed in a loosely closed container for no more than ten minutes. Experienced chefs do not recommend increasing the heat under the frying pan. Otherwise, the heavily bubbling cream may curdle.
Classic recipe for champignons cooked in creamy sauce
Compound:
- champignons – 0.5 kg;
- low-fat cream – 0.5 l;
- butter – 40 g;
- refined vegetable oil – 40 ml;
- wheat flour – 60 g;
- onions – 150 g;
- salt, ground black pepper - to taste.
Cooking method:
- Wash the mushrooms, dry with a napkin, cut into large cubes.
- Remove the peel and cut the onion into small pieces.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, brown the onion in it, add the mushrooms and fry them until the liquid released from the champignons evaporates from the frying pan.
- Melt the butter in a clean saucepan. Sprinkle it with sifted flour. Fry the flour until it acquires a caramel color.
- Gradually pour the cream into the saucepan, whisking it at the same time to prevent the formation of flour lumps.
- Place mushrooms in a saucepan. Add salt and pepper.
- Simmer the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Mushrooms prepared according to this recipe are served as a main dish. As a side dish, you can serve potatoes, pasta, and rice prepared in any way.
With melted cheese
Using the technology described below, you get very tasty and presentable stuffed mushrooms in a delicate creamy sauce. To surprise your family and friends with them, you will need:
- 500 g champignons.
- 500 ml cream.
- 250 g of any ground meat.
- 100 g processed cheese.
- ½ stick of butter.
- Salt, aromatic spices, grated ginger and good wine.
Step #1. The stems of the washed mushrooms are cut off and chopped with a sharp knife.
Step #2. Chopped parts of champignons are fried in melted butter until lightly browned.
Step #3. At the next stage, they are poured with wine and seasoned with ginger.
Step #4. All this is heated until the alcohol evaporates, and then cooled and combined with salted twisted meat.
Step #5. The resulting mass is stuffed with mushroom caps and placed in a suitable container.
Step #6. Stuffed champignons are mashed with cheese, poured with cream and simmered over low heat until fully cooked.
Creamy sauce with cheese and mushrooms
Creamy sauce with cheese and mushrooms In order to prepare this version of the recipe, the housewife must stock up on certain ingredients:
- 400 milliliters 20% cream.
- 0.5 kilograms of champignons.
- 2 medium sized onions.
- A few tablespoons of sunflower oil.
- 75 grams of cheese.
- 2 spoons of flour.
- Spices to taste.
- Greenery.
Prepare the sauce as follows:
- Mushrooms are washed, dried and cut into small slices or plates.
- Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes.
- Flour is diluted with water, stirring gradually to prevent the appearance of lumps.

- After the onions are cooked, add the mushrooms.

With egg
This tasty and extremely aromatic dish is equally appropriate on a regular dinner table and at a festive buffet. It goes very well with pasta, buckwheat and mashed potatoes, which means it will add some variety to your usual diet. To prepare it you will need:
- 450 g porcini mushrooms.
- 200 ml cream.
- 2 cloves of garlic.
- 1 egg.
- Salt, dill, spices and vegetable oil.
Step #1. The mushrooms are separated from everything unnecessary, rinsed, dried, cut into slices and fried in hot oil, not forgetting to add salt and season.
Step #2. All this is poured with a mixture of eggs, crushed garlic, chopped herbs and cream.
Step #3. The resulting mass is transferred to a heat-resistant form and sent for heat treatment. Bake porcini mushrooms with cream in an oven preheated to standard temperature for no longer than twenty-five minutes. To make the taste of the dish more rich, experienced chefs recommend generously sprinkling it with cheese shavings shortly before completing the heat treatment.
Champignons in cream without flour or starch
Compound:
- champignons – 0.5 kg;
- onions – 150 g;
- lemon – 1 pc.;
- heavy cream – 0.2 l;
- fresh herbs – 50 g;
- salt, ground black pepper - to taste;
- refined vegetable oil – 60 ml.
Cooking method:
- After washing and drying the champignons with a napkin, cut into slices.
- Squeeze the juice out of the lemon, pour it over the mushroom plates, and stir. Leave the mushrooms to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Wash, dry the greens, chop them as finely as possible with a knife.
- Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and add the onion. Fry it until it turns golden brown.
- Place the champignons into the pan. Cook them, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper, herbs and cream, stir.
- Simmer the dish for 2-3 minutes over low heat, without letting it boil.
- Remove the pan from the heat and invite your household to the table.
Champignons in cream cook quickly, but if you want to speed up the cooking process even more, use canned champignons instead of fresh ones, which do not require pickling.
With green beans
This light and very tasty dish will not go unnoticed by lovers of vegetables and champignons. And the presence of an appetizing cheese crust gives it special sophistication. To cook your own mushrooms in cream, you will need:
- 350 g champignons.
- 200 g green beans.
- 100 g salty cheese.
- 220 ml liquid milk cream.
- Salt, aromatic spices and any vegetable oil.
Step #1. The washed and chopped champignons are laid out on a baking sheet and dried briefly in a preheated oven.
Step #2. After about ten minutes, they are covered with prepared beans, salted and seasoned cream, mashed with cheese and returned for heat treatment. They are cooked at 190°C until an appetizing crust appears.
