  • 500 gr. pork tenderloin
  • 300 gr. fresh champignons
  • 1 onion
  • 250 ml. 15% sour cream
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt to taste

The onion is chopped into thin half rings and lightly sautéed in sunflower oil over low heat. Pork cut into cubes or long strips is added to it. Increase the heat so that the meat is slightly browned. The next step is to add chopped mushrooms and simmer them until fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes. Do not chop the champignons too finely - during the process of stewing and frying, they significantly decrease in volume.

Reduce the heat to low and add chopped garlic, sour cream and a little salt to taste. The meat is simmered for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the finished pork with champignons in sour cream from the heat and let it brew for 20-30 minutes. The ideal side dish for this dish would be mashed potatoes or boiled rice.

How to cook “Pork in mushroom sauce”

Let's start with pork. Wash it and cut it into slices half a centimeter thick.

Dredge pork in flour.

Fry the pork pieces in hot vegetable oil on both sides, about a minute on each side.

Set the meat aside on a plate.

Finely chop the onion and fry until transparent.

Finely chop the mushrooms and add to the onion.

Simmer the onions and mushrooms together for about 10 minutes.

Pork with champignons and potatoes

The easiest way to prepare a delicious dish is to stew it in a thick-bottomed pan. Pork with champignons and potatoes is ideal for lunch or a hearty dinner. For preparation use:

  • 500 gr. meat
  • 200 gr. mushrooms
  • 500 gr. potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • 2 glasses of water
  • Bay leaf
  • salt and seasonings to taste

Pour sunflower oil into a pan and fry the onion in it until half cooked. Next, add diced meat and champignons - they are simmered over medium heat for 15-20 minutes with constant stirring. The next step is to add diced potatoes. Pour two glasses of water into the dish and bring it to a boil, then turn the heat to minimum. Cooking continues until the potatoes are completely soft. Only after this is the broth salted and seasoned with bay leaf. The dish does not need a side dish, as it combines both meat and potatoes.
